Is it just us, or are the munchies one of the most fun parts of being high? We love coming up with endless food creations that our sober mind would look at and say, huh? Having the munchies produces interesting and sometimes risky foods, but we’ve come up with our top three favorite munchie snacks. Next time you’re craving something totally ridiculous, give these a try!
Top 3 munchie snacks
Peanut butter stuffed donut sundae
Ingredients:
- Peanut butter
- Donuts
- Ice cream
We’re starting off simple here, but we guarantee this combination tastes anything but ordinary. The peanut butter gives a little salty kick to the already super sweet donut. You can use any type of donut, glazed, chocolate, or iced! Simply stuff with peanut butter, and top with ice cream. You’re welcome.
Taco ring
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1/2cup water
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
- 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced ripe olives, taco sauce or salsa, as desired
Directions:

Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef until no longer pink. Add taco seasoning mix and 1/2 cup water. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened. In medium bowl, mix beef mixture and cheese.
- Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. On ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like the sun.
- Spoon beef mixture on the half of each triangle closest to center of ring.
- Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little).Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.
Mac and cheese quesadilla
Two of our favorite foods have come together to join as one. Why haven’t we thought of this earlier?
Ingredients:
- 1 package instant mac & cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2-4 flour tortillas
- Salsa (optional)
Directions:
- Make mac & cheese according to package.
- Heat up a skillet and add in flour tortilla. Add a scoop of mac & cheese onto tortilla.
- Put cheddar cheese on top of mac & cheese.
- Top with other tortilla, flip over to warm the other side.
- Top with salsa
