Burkhlalter claims the CBD oil was used purely for medical purposed for her arthritis and didn’t contain any THC. She also said she had a doctors note for her CBD.

CBD oil doesn’t produce any ‘high’ feelings or effects when consumed.

Her attorney, Ben Crump, has just filed a lawsuit against the Orlando Police Department. Crump is mostly known for representing the family of George Floyd.

According to Crump’s law firm, Burkhalter is alleging assault and battery, false imprisonment, defamation, and emotional distress, among others.
