1. Universal Studios Tour

If you hang out on Hollywood Blvd during recording times, you might even get the chance to be on a segment of Jimmy Kimmel Live as they consistently interact with tourists outside the studio. While you are hanging around Hollywood Blvd, make sure to glance below your feet and check out the famous name plates on the walkway. 4. Hollywood Bowl

Known for its impeccable natural acoustics, the Hollywood Bowl is one of the best outdoor attractions in Los Angeles. You can also check out the Hollywood Bowl Museum to reminisce about all of the quintessential moments of past performances while sampling some of their food. 5. Broadway in Hollywood

One of the most popular and well-liked musical hits due to its modern lyrical hip hop and rap stylings as well as impassioned storytelling will be making its way to Broadway in Hollywood in August 2022. Hamilton: An American Musical is a musical by award winning Lin-Manuel Miranda that tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

6. TCL Chinese Theatre

The infamous Chinese Theatre is up and running waiting for you to join them for the biggest summer 2022 blockbuster available in MX 4D F9 The Fast Saga. This theatre isn’t just for viewing the hottest new flicks, it’s also Hollywood’s most iconic cinematic architecture. You will appreciate their numerous hand sanitzier stations, as you may be tempted to place your hands in your favorite celebrity’s imprint outside the theatre.

7. Santa Monica Pier

All of June 2022 you can experience Santa Monica pier’s Pride Rainbow Road Art Walk. In partnership with Allies in Arts, strollers can appreciate 13 incredible one-of-a-kind art installations by LGBTQIA+ artists. Santa Monica Pier of course has its beautiful beach, bike path, and classic seafood. They also have Heal the Bay Aquarium, Trapeze School of New York, Ocean Front Walk lined with shops and restaurants, carousel, and arcade.

8. Griffith Observatory

Self described as the place where you can “explore the universe for free in the heart of Los Angeles”, the Griffith Observatory is a must see place in Los Angeles. Due to COVID-19, the building is not open. However the scenic outdoor area is notably breathtaking and worth the trip. If you are wanting to see the Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory is where you will have one of the best views. The Observatory’s grounds and roads are open, as are the roads and trails of Griffith Park.

9. Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens

The Los Angeles Zoo is something you’ll want to plan ahead, due to advanced reservations ensuring a socially distant timed entrance. The zoo has a state-of-the-art rain forest exhibit and the largest flock of flamingos in any zoo in the world. You’ll get to see bears, giraffes, Asian elephants, Komodo dragons, wart pigs, and you can even walk through a gorilla’s forest.

10. Natural History Museum 

The Natural History Museum explores nature and culture from the inside out. Although they have a heavy focus on dinosaurs, they carry exhibits from all over the world. You will want to visit the amazing Dinosaur Hall, Becoming Los Angeles, Age of Mammals, and Nature Gardens. You’ll also enjoy the Dino Lab, Hall of Birds, African and North American Dioramas, and so much more! Summer 2022 exhibits are: “Rise Up L.A.: A Century of Votes for Women”, “Spikey, Hairy, Shiny: Insects of L.A.”, and “Butterfly Pavilion”.

11. L.A Ghost Tour

If you’re someone who enjoys spookiness all year round, you may enjoy the L.A Ghost Tour. You’ll hear the stories of unexplained and creepy encounters of  L.A.’s most haunted places down Hollywood Boulevard and surrounding streets such as the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Roosevelt, and The Magic Castle. This tour is for those who care more about the era of the silver screen than modern day celebrities. You’ll enjoy learning everything there is to know about the terrifying times in TinselTown. Their website does not mention COVID 19 details specifically, please take necessary precautions.

12. The Grove

The Grove is a world-renowned high end shopping, dining for families and adults, lifestyle, and entertainment destination. The charming old-fashioned trolley rides and dancing water fountains are simply a sight you must see for yourself. Enjoy the sites and weekend musical entertainment from 3pm-6pm. Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am -9:30 am FIT4MOM offers socially distant stroller ride exercises. It appears they offer safe distance and mask policies to ensure local COVD-19 regulations.
