Flavor & Aroma 

True to it’s name, this strain smells like grape. The fruity aroma is subtle, not strong, which may disappoint some people. To smell the bud better, remove it from the bag or bottle and break up the nugs. If you do, you might also get a faint waft of diesel or chemical smell, indicative of Grape Escape’s parent.

You should be able to pick out the grape smell and maybe detect some floral notes. The flavor differed from the smell. With the name Grape Escape, one would expect more grape, fruit, and citrus flavors.

The front end of the hit delivered a subtle sweet grape flavor. Notes of citrus from the limonene and sweetness from the linalool crept in the inhale and exhale, but the large amount of myrcene and caryophyllene provided a dominant earthy wood flavor.

How does it look? 

Subtlety seems to be the name of the game with Grape Escape. The purple coloring is there but is far from the standout feature. The trichomes actually obscure your view of the resinous buds, although you get to see plenty of orange pistils.

The nugs flower early (around 53 days indoors) and grow colas of frost that really make the garden pop. The strain is known for producing high amounts of resin non-stop, giving it it’s signature shimmer and making growers interested in concentrates flock to this one in droves (before finding out how rare it is).
