The original strain won a variety of old medals at 2012 KushCon thanks to its robust flavors passed on from its parent strains, Granddaddy Purple and Platinum Cookies. Candyland will take you to a magical land of happiness and childlike wonder. That’s not the only stop on this train to the inner peace, as you depart for a stop full of uplifting moods where sour attitudes aren’t allowed. The final stop is a cerebral party that makes you want to send all your friends a “Wish You Were Here” card, straight from Candyland.
Candyland is a sweet treat, smelling of berries and candy, with a lingering scent of vanilla upon inhale. Candyland is another strain that lived up to its fun and fancy name. The flower is reminiscent of a crystallized sugar coated plum, and you can see spots of purple in each bud. The color threw me off and I had to double check to make sure it was a Sativa dominant as I remembered. After rereading the description and smoking some, the Sativa dominance was very evident. This is a very energizing strain, comparable to caffeine in a cannabis form. The high is light and airy, excellent for grinding away at the office and cleaning my house. Candyland is probably one of the strongest I have tried, it has a very long lasting high, even for my high tolerance. I just noticed right now that there are lab results available on the description for this strain and a few others on Kushfly, that’s pretty neat. I’ll order Candyland again for sure!

This is the one. I’m getting more today because I’m not taking any chances that it won’t be available. The first thing that stands out to me is the stickiness. These are very tight, very sticky buds that require time to break down correctly. You don’t want to use scissors or a grinder because you’ll end up messing those implements up with resin you’re wasting. These are the kind of buds that actually are better to “unravel” leaf by leaf with your hands and fingernails. I realize that’s NOT an option for a lot of people, but just saying it’s that kind of sticky. Taste is great, burn is great. Hard to believe it’s not Indica when you’re working with it, and it sort of smokes like a thick Indica, but it’s definitely Sativa – nice bright high that doesn’t demand that you sit down on the couch, but if you’re going to be on the couch, this also works perfectly.
