The Best Sunset Views Los Angeles

LA is known for many things aside from weed and sunsets are one of them. There are quite alot of good spots to embrace the beauty of sunsets and enjoy a flower in the region, and here are team Kushfly’s favorite sunset views in Los Angeles.

Korean Friendship Bell

The Korean Friendship Bell in San Pedro is located south of Los Angeles, near Long Beach. The Republic of Korea gave this massive, historic bell in 1976 to commemorate the two-hundredth anniversary of the United States’ independence, pay tribute to Korean War heroes, and enhance ties between the two countries. This antique bell is located along the shore, so you can enjoy both the monument’s magnificent history and the breathtaking ocean views as the sunsets.

Manhattan Beach Pier

The beautiful Manhattan Beach Pier is located just south of LAX airport. This pier, like the Santa Monica Pier, allows you to stand over the water with a front-row view of the sunset. Because there are no significant attractions on the boardwalk, this pier is less crowded, making it a perfect spot for watching the sunset.

El Matador Beach

El Matador Beach, located in Malibu, will provide you with unrivaled vistas. Beautiful caves and sea stacks are strewn across the sandy shore attract visitors. Sit back, relax, and maybe take a pre-roll with you to enhance the experience. The sun falls below the horizon as the rays of light glisten upon the magnificent and glorious landforms.

Pacific Coast Highway

The Pacific Coast Highway is a beautiful drive that everyone should take. Driving the full Pacific Coast Highway will take many hours, but you don’t have to do so to enjoy the sunset. Instead, take a shorter road drive from Santa Monica to Malibu, which will take around 40 minutes. As you cruise by falling cliffs that plunge into the glistening water, you’ll be in wonder.

Burton Cache Park

A beautiful harbor and the popular Burton Chace Park may be found in Marina Del Rey’s beachside community. From it’s marina of yachts teetering softly in the water to it’s lovely sea lions sunning on the piers, this park is plenty of attractions to behold. Take a seat with a little bit of an edible on one of the park’s benches to witness the spectacular sunset: it’s one of LA’s best sunset views.

Palisades Park

Palisades Park is next to Ocean Avenue and runs all the way to the Santa Monica Pier. This park is surrounded by palm trees and gives panoramic views of the ocean. You’ll be able to see the sun appear to be descending beneath the surface of the ocean, painting the sky a beautiful mix of reds and oranges. As the day draws to a close, the lights from the Santa Monica Pier’s amusement park illuminate the otherwise dark sky.

Hollywood Sign

Hiking to the Hollywood Sign is an excellent way to see the sunset in Hollywood. For breathtaking sunset views of the city, stand just behind the 45-foot high letters of the sign. The hike is around 6 miles long and takes about 2-3 hours to finish, but it’s definitely worth it to be in one of the best spots in Los Angeles to view the sunset. It is like an art piece in a museum.

Runyon Canyon Park

If you enjoy hiking, Runyon Canyon Park is a great spot to get your heart rate up while also being surrounded by magnificent vistas of the city for the duration of your journey. The Hollywood Sign can be seen towards the start of the trek, and the sun casts a wonderful color on the sign and it’s surrounding hills.

Mulholland Drive

Going on a gorgeous drive around Los Angeles is a must-do when visiting the city, so why not do so as the sun sets? Drive along Mulholland Drive to get a glimpse of this one-of-a-kind panorama. Along the crest of the Hollywood Hills and the eastern Santa Monica Mountains, the 21-mile drive will lead you. Aerial vistas of Downtown Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills are available along the journey. If you choose, you can drive straight to the Mulholland Scenic Overlook and stop to watch the sunset.
