Thi Tran, the executive chef, and his wife Nguyen opened Starry Kitchen in the back of there flat as an illegal, underground restaurant. Tran has organized several covert “Chinese herb and marijuana” dinners for the drugged foodie crowd since turning official and hooking up with the Button Mash in Silver Lake. Though the usual menu won’t get you stoned, it will satisfy your hunger. Starry Kitchen also offers a braised Coca-Cola jackfruit sandwich and double-fried sour chicken wings, in addition to a great double cheeseburger.

Honey’s Kettle
This restaurant combines southern comfort with fast food. The chicken is always hot and delicious, straight from the fryer. Honey’s Kettle is known for it’s classic Southern comfort food. We love the restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere and traditional approach to southern food. Honey’s is known for it’s biscuits and tea, but you should experience them for yourself.

KazuNori
The hand roll joint KazuNori is a must-visit for stoners. The restaurant, which is a spin-off of Kazunori and Tom Nozawa’s Sugarfish, serves a la carte and set menu hand rolls with contents ranging from salmon to yamaimo. You won’t find much to eat here if your not seeking hand rolls, but you may keep yourself occupied by ordering the house nigiri.

Cliff’s Edge
This picturesque treehouse restaurant serves locally sourced brunch and dinner, as well as an extensive wine list. The restaurant serves a daily oyster selection, as well as cured meats and larger meals such as fried entire branzino.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, located in Los Feliz, is a local favorite. The wonderful aroma of waffle cones fills the air as soon as you walk in. B.S. Taqueria, led by chef Ray Garcia, offers creative twists on traditional Mexican dishes. The grilled corn with guajillo butter and cotija cheese is incredible, especially when coupled with a couple of there delicious yet wallet-friendly tacos.

Mohawk Bend
Mohawk Bend makes eating healthy simple, whether your a vegan or not. Enjoy excellent, wholesome vegan food in a relaxed setting. Vegan burgers, vegan cheese, and vegan fries are available. Is there anything else on the menu? The fried chicken sandwich that started it all. & there was the mac and cheese that transformed LA forever.

L&E Oyster Co.
This eatery offers a wide variety of “delicious, crispy delicacies.” The Corn Fried Popcorn Shrimp on the upstairs menu, which is “gluten-free for all those LA dietary friendly stoners,” is followed by the restaurant’s legendary fried oysters, according to the chef. Ask for the Chowder Fries, an off-menu delicacy with cheese and chorizo, if your searching for something special. “It’ll blow anyone’s head,” the proprietor claims.
