Quick Guide to Phytocannabinoids

What is a Phytocannabinoid?

Many of our customers have asked us for a quick guide to phytocannabinoids. To put it simply, phytocannabinoids are naturally occurring cannabis cannabinoids. They are full of terpenes and found in copious amounts of thick resin. If you are looking for an easy Phytocannabinoid definition, you have come to the right place. They are essentially any cannabinoid that is produced in trichomes.

Do Phytocannabinoids Make You High?

When ingested, phytocannabinoids interact with our own endocannabinoid system. There genetic makeup and behavior allows this interaction specifically by mimicking endocannabinoids. This results in both psychotropic and therapeutic effects with our body’s receptors.

What Are the Benefits of Phytocannabinoids?

Phytocannabinoids discourage the breakdown of endocannabinoids, extending there efforts. Some of the benefits of phytocannabinoids are aiding in: addiction to cigarettes, anxiety, epilepsy, hypertension, Parkinson’s, and schizophrenia.

Phytocannabinoids vs CBD

Are phytocannabinoids the same as CBD? CBD, or cannabidiol, is also a naturally occurring compound found in cannabis. CBD cannabinoid derives from phytocannabinoids. Since cannabidiol compounds come from phytocannabinoids, they cannot both be the same exact chemical compound.

Are There Phytocannabinoids in Other Plants?

Phytocannabinoids can be found in cloves, black pepper, oregano, basil, and other common plants. Surprisingly, phytocannabinoids can also be seen in vegetables. For example, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts all have phytocannabinoids.

I think it is the solution to treat my stage of bipolar disorder now, ater taking toxic meds for 20 years and smoking terrible, horrible weed and using other drugs, so I see now that the right type of flower can eventually substitute the 5 different meds I have to take everyday, which deprive me from having a normal life, I don´t feel true happiness nor sadness, and a few weeks ago I got a pot candy and I felt great, no pain, I forgot about my problems for some time, I felt I could fly, but I did not lose my focus or concentration, I was sober, no paranoia, my thoughts were organized, it was amazing. I need this, I hope someone understands. Thank God for this plant, now I only need to find a way to get the correct flower for me. Shalom.
