Weed can be enjoyed in many forms. From smoking to vaping, dabbing to eating, it’s hard to choose the best way to indulge in a little THC. When it comes to edibles, we have the best weed brownies recipe out there.
If you’ve never tried weed brownies, you’re in for a treat. These potent brownies will get you stoned and they taste great. If you’re a beginner, start with eating a quarter of 1 brownie and waiting about 30-40 minutes. Edibles have a tendency to kick in just when you think they aren’t working and want to grab another bite.
You’ll need a few ingredients for weed brownies including cannabutter. If you don’t know how to make it, check out our other blog ‘How To Make Cannabutter’ for step-by-step instructions.
Weed Brownies Recipe
- 1/2 cup of cannabutter (If you want to make a less potent batch, use 1/4 a cup of cannabutter and 1/4 a cup of regular unsalted butter.)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease your baking pan with cooking spray. The pan should be around 8×8 to 9×9 inches. For thinner brownies, a larger pan is fine, but be sure to check that your brownies aren’t burning.
Mix the dry ingredients, cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl and set aside.
Melt your butter (cannabutter and/ or regular) a saucepan until it is a liquid, being careful not to let it reach a boil. You want your butter melted but not hot.
Mix sugar and vanilla into the butter.
Add your sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs to the mixing bowl with your other dry ingredients.
Beat the mixture in your mixing bowl until there are no chunks and it is smooth.
Pour the brownie batter into your baking pan.
Put your brownies in the oven, and let bake for 25 to 30 minutes, checking every 10-15 mins.
Allow your brownies to cool, and coat with a frosting if you’d like. These will have a slight weed taste, so adding a frosting is a good way to tone it down.
Enjoy your brownies!
