Ahh, 2019. One of the most exciting times to be alive and immersed in cannabis culture. We’ve surpassed many obstacles and have come a long way since it was illegal to even possess cannabis in California!
Living in this ever-changing time can be quite confusing and raises a lot of questions and curiosity. Perhaps one of the most popular questions would be ‘is weed delivery legal?
We are here to share some of the most exciting news we have heard this year… Cannabis delivery is now legal everywhere in California! Light up and raise your joints in celebration!
State lawyers gave the final approval on January 16th to pass a regulation allowing home cannabis deliveries throughout the entire state, regardless of local bans on sales. This means even if you live in a city or county where cannabis retail stores are not allowed to operate, you can still order from a delivery service and have it brought to your home. Local jurisdictions no longer maintain the right to prohibit home delivery or cannabis products. Californians approved the measure 57% to 43% – a 2 million vote cushion. The new delivery law makes it much easier for anyone who needs access to either medical or even recreational marijuana.
This new regulation is music to our ears, and we can’t wait to service more of you in those areas we were once not allowed to deliver in.
