5. Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California

You can hike the hilly treks, bike the 1.7 mile bridge, or discover the hidden beach nearby in the Tennessee Valley Trail. 8. Channel Islands, Catalina Island California
Along California’s coastline, are the scenic Channel Islands. Five of these islands lie within a national park of the same name with canyons, cliffs, and flawless beaches. Three of these islands are available to the public (two are used for the Navy) so visitors are welcome to go fishing, scuba diving, and sailing. Santa Catalina is the island where residents live in the small town of Avalon and Two Harbors. Avalon is the most popularly visited part of the island where you can go swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, zip lining, shopping, strolling the museum and art galleries, spend a day at a spa, take guided tours, or rent golf carts to explore the city on your own.
9. Redwood National Park, Orick California
